Coin size

All of our challenge coins are hand crafted with bronze, silver or gold alloy, to give your creation that special look of quality! The normal size for a challenge coin is 1.56 " in diameter and 3 mm thick. We also mint coins in 1.75" and 2" diameter. Unique shapes and sizes can be created and a quote will be made based on your design. Diamond cut edges are available on all of our coins. We can mint almost any size or shape so if you're looking for something that isn't listed, e-mail us! We can probably do it for you!

Colors

You can use up to 5 different colors on each side without any cost increase. The colors are HAND PAINTED baked enamel and we can match almost any color!

Cost

The price chart below shows you the cost per coin. Find the size of the coin you would like to make on the left, then choose either Bronze, Silver or Gold metal finish and then decide if you want your coin plain, with color on one side, color on 2 sides or diamond cut edges with color on one or both sides. You may choose up to 5 colors per side!

EXAMPLE: You want to order 320 1.5" bronze challenge coins with color on both sides.

The cost of the die is $210.00 and covers both sides of a 1.5" Bronze coin.
The price is $2.22 per coin (2 side color and you're ordering between 300 and 499 coins)
Total cost would be $2.22 X 320 coins + $210.00 for the die. Shipping is FREE on your first purchase!!

To help keep your cost down on your first order, we pay for your shipping! All shipping is done via UPS 2-3 day service worldwide unless you need the coins shipped regular mail to an APO/FPO address.

Production & Shipment

The average time to complete production is 40-45 days, depending on work flow. March - June is the busiest time of the year so you may have a small delay during that time of the year. Each coin is hand painted to give you the best possible finished product. When the first coin is minted and painted, it will be scanned and placed online for your approval as soon as it passes quality control. We will gladly mail you the sample coin if you like. Please keep in mind that mailing the sample coin will increase the time between getting the sample to you and starting the full order. If you have a deadline to get the full order back, scanning your coin is the fastest way to meet that deadline! After you approve the sample coin, your balance will be due and your full order is minted. The coins are shipped directly from the mint so it takes about 10 days to ship after your order is finished. From the time you approve your coin design, it will take between 40-45 days to get your full challenge coin order minted. Since each coin is hand painted, larger orders (over 1,000 coins) may take a little longer. Shipping ranges from 2-3 business days via UPS Express or 20-30 days via regular mail to an APO/FPO address since it is delivered by military mail.

Payment

We accept Master Card, Visa, IMPAC Card, American Express, Business checks or money orders. At the time you place your order, the die fee is due to make your die. We will create your sample coin and scan it for you to approve. When you approve your coin, please send us an e-mail confirmation that everything looks good. Once you approve the sample and e-mail us, you can pay by credit card or mail in your payment for the full order (minus the die fee you already paid) and the coins will be minted as soon as we receive your payment. Shipping is FREE on your initial order so no additional charges or payments are due unless you decide to order more coins. Payment is due in full prior to minting your coins.
